We are looking for an incredible person to help lead paid search strategy and campaign management across a variety of clients. This role empowers you to go deep into data analysis, formulate strategic initiatives, and mentor our junior-level search team members. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial-spirited, highly detail-oriented, and have exceptional problem-solving skills along with prior paid search experience preferably at an agency. You will join our small but mighty team of 10 and report directly to our awesome Sr. Paid Search Strategist.

Responsibility

 What you will do

  • Train and guide junior paid search team members.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives for search campaigns including but not limited to planning, structuring, forecasting, testing, and optimizing.
  • Lead day-to-day management and optimization of the clients’ paid search campaigns.
  • Ensure successful implementation and launch of campaigns with robust QA.
  • Proactively communicate project needs, statuses, timelines, and results to internal and external teams.
  • Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools, including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Domo, and proprietary systems.
  • Identify areas of improvement where automation can be implemented to improve conversion.
  • Develop testing protocols with measurable outcomes and key action steps.
  • Utilize data modeling and bid management tools to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Work closely with other internal departments such as Tech, Creative, and Accounts to develop fully-integrated search campaigns.
  • Support and mentor account team to prepare them to lead client accounts, including communication, calls, meetings, and emails.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing large paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing, including exposure to search management platforms such as Search Ads 360, Kenshoo, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years managing +100 paid search campaigns at scale.
  • Minimum of 2 years of client-facing experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally, with the ability to provide actionable insights for all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manipulate, extrapolate, analyze and interpret large quantities of data.
  • Has a progressive understanding of the interrelationship between paid search and other digital channels.
  • Proven organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Significant Microsoft Excel skill with an understanding of pivot tables and vlookups.
